Langit Watch was first introduced to the public through a network of large mosques in Greater Malang, the An-Nur Mosque in Batu City, the Sabilillah Mosque in Malang City, and the Gadang Mosque (near the border of Malang City and Regency). The AAQMS mobile used by Langit Watch has been completed a continuous analysis for one week for each mosque to determine the type and highest levels of pollutants around the mosque. While the AAQMS is analyzing, our Langit Protector also shares information through an open seminar with everyone Most pollutants are produced by cars and motorbikes that keep the engine running even in the parking area. Together with Langit Watch, the management of the three mosques agreed to make regulations to turn off motorized vehicles while waiting in the mosque parking area and its surroundings.

Why do we use USEPA Standard CAAQMS?
It is the highest international standard, accurate & legally defendable. The CAAQMS uses field calibration with continuous validation.
Why don't we use electrochemical-based sensors?
Because it’s limitations:
• Affected by temperature/humidity
• Cross-sensitivity
• Detection limit > WHO Guidelines
• No validation and no drift compensation
Why do we only have one Mobile CAAQMS?
A USEPA Standard CAAQMS is a high-end technology, which affects the higher price of the unit. At the moment, there is only one group of companies that share the same vision as us and are kind enough to lend their CAAQMS for free.

Why do we still use Fossil-Fuel-Vehicle to transport the CAAQMS?
Because the current price of electric vehicles is still unaffordable, our partners selectively chose a new Toyota Hilux truck to transport our CAAQMS, as penance we committed to donating one tree for every kilometer the truck traveled to the campaign location.
